Wow! No brainer or what - peregrines or shopping in Bucks tomorrow? This project has been superb and had raised the profile of Derby many times over. I don't know who you are, Peregrine Project Instigator, but I'd like to nominate you for the freedom of Derby City and a knighthood! You've done great things for the birds, brought pure joy to all of us thousands of watchers and made Derby sound like one of the coolest places in the land.

morning all!!
Its 5.30am and just checking on the girls prior to another days work. They are both sat together on the edge of the box like a couple of fighter planes all pristine and ready for action!! Today will be the day I am sure. Watch this space to find out more!!
As a lot of fellow bloggers have said the people who have organised this project certainly deserve some sort of recognition for all there hard work but if they are anything like me there satisfaction and jobs worth will be gained when our ladies grace the air. That is certainly better than any medal!!

There was one in the bed........

At 6.20 this morning (Saturday) I logged on to find just one chick in the nest!!! How could she do this to us. She could have waited till people were up and about!

I'm on my way down there now!

At 6:18 this morning one chick decided to do a test flight onto the left web cam. 30 mins later a safe return to the tray. Not far but a good safe start. If the weather holds off I think today will be the day. Nick picture being emailed now (deleat this bit).
