Most of the juveniles fledge successfully, landing on a roof somewhere nearby. Just occasionally they come to ground and have to be rescued and taken back to the top of the tower for a second attempt (which always has been successful in the past). Check the comments for the latest news/updates.

Thanks for that Anon. Sometimes the adults perch there after one of the juveniles has fledged so it might have been an adult. We'll update as soon as we get further information.

The remaining two youngsters were fed by the female a little while ago. Hopefully that's a good sign and the other juvenile has had a safe landing nearby.

Sorry have only just come across this new page & have posted many comments & vids on previous one!
No sign of the juv when it was searched for just now and both adults were calmly sitting up the top of the tower - so that usually means the fledger is safe somewhere. Further checks will be made later.

Suddenly the big chick not so keen on balancing & preening on the ledge, just peering over from the safety of the scrape!
Notice how the other 2 dont want to go near edge now, windy today aswell so i bet the juvinile blew off wen wernt so ready :(
It seemed to fall backwards as it was stood on the lip of the far scrape and beating its wings hard ! It's nest mate was standing next to it. It had been flapping further towards the wall of the scrape before going onto the edge.

Lots of activity today between 12 and 3. Both juveson the scrape edge frequently. The more adventurous one was flapping furiously a number of times. More vigorous than any other day. Lots of head bobbing and squatting which made me hopeful that it would fledge but no go. Just seen a kill brought in. Why leave with a first class food service still on offer.
Do the chicks return to the nest when they've fledged or has the first chick gone now?
Looks like they had chicken for tea.
Missed all that activity that Dave witnessed but see the biggest on the ledge again now!

See relatively fresh remains of prey so looks as if remaining chick has been fed at some stage this morning!

XL went about 6.30 this morning. XK the big chick can still be seen on Camera 1 now.
