Update at 20th April: a fine view of the eggs as hatching approaches as captured by Wendy Bartter yesterday (19th):
As we slowly approach hatching there's not a lot happening - but Wendy Bartter has been capturing videos showing the changeovers between the male and female peregrines.
She has been putting links to them on the comments (eg to the last blog post) but here are two of the more recent ones - this one from 15th:
And this one from 16th. Wendy thinks the coloured eggs look a slightly different shape:
As hatching approaches, the female will begin to hear the cheeping of the chicks from inside the eggs.
She will become more 'fidgety', getting up and looking at the eggs and then sitting down on them again.
Hatching often takes place at night.....so we wonder which of you night owls will see a fluffy white chick first?

Egg #3 hatched earlt this morning, full house there!
Our female has been very fussy on eggs today, be interesting to see if she agrees to chàngeover with the male?
Forgot to specify egg #3 @ Kingston College!
I saw one egg moving by itself last night when mama bird stood up. :) The night vision (or whatever it is) on webcam 1 kept switching off with a click at regular intervals though, so I could only see the nest for a few seconds at a time. That happened for several hours.
Appreciate how irritating nightcam is at present but keep watching as hatch not too far off now IMO!
Caught this changeover @ 10.10 this morning having missed recording earlier one @ 09.31

I definitely heard faint cheeping just now!
ONE CHICK HAS DEFINITELY HATCHED!
The female bird is eating one of the brown eggshells. :)
Brilliant news, thanks for watching & posting, sorry I missed the moment!
Dad comes in to see FIRST chick, chats to Mum but she won't changeover

Have to wait for next changeover for a clear view of the chick!
Yay!!! well done
we hav seen a wite flufy chick. we wer exssited.
So pleased you saw a chick but now Mum refuses to move off them when Dad brings in some prey

think we may have a second chick. Mum is getting more skilled at feeding. the first chick is very vocal and appeared to have a good feed. the angle of the camera prevented me seeing much but thought there appeared to be a second chick showing. Chris M
