You may also recall that a complete overhaul of the Silk Mill building (just visible behind the trees in the screengrab below) is now underway and that it became clear some time ago that our kit on their building would have to be removed and that there might not be another site on the building for it once the work is complete.

Very fortunately, the removal of our kit didn't take place during the breeding season so, if it had to happen at all, this is the best time of year for the cams to be down....the birds rarely show on them now, preferring to perch elsewhere, eg on the tower higher up or on Jurys Inn.
We are sorry for this break in transmission but rest assured we are doing everything we can to find a solution and get up and running once more.

I'd miss Mrs. P. and her new Mr. P. and new falcons joining the world...
Wishing all Peregrine watchers and The Team a very Happy Christmas and best wishes for the New Year. Hoping normal service will be resumed and that Mr & Mrs P will once more provide us with many hours of enjoyable viewing and hopefully a successful breeding season.

Both peregrines were seen on Jurys Inn yesterday by Antony Pooles.
The project team
Yesterday (18th) Antony stood on Cathedral Green and saw a flurry of activity with our pair in the nest platform (probably mating but he says he wasn't quick enough with his binoculars to be 100% sure) with the female then 'eechuping' for a few minutes, then doing some obvious nest scraping.
