One thing ive learnt this year (first year watching) so far is how quick the chicks grow, the ones at Nottingham are huge already in a short amount of time! As ...That's great Emerald Class - well spotted!<br />As you say, swifts are indeed 'swift' fliers and can do 70 miles per hour in level flight (ie not diving down). They w...Today we saw our first two swifs at school. They were flying about looking for food. They were flying quickly. The peregrins and swifs are very good flyers but peregrins are the quickest.
